Pantelleria
Three different dammusi on the same island, photographed on the same trip. Lava stone walls, white vaults, terraces and pools set into the slope: on Pantelleria a house is never seen on its own, it is always seen with the landscape around it.
For each house the work runs on three levels: the aerial view that places it on the island, the rooms lived in during the hot hours, and the details of the evening.

The house most open to the view: pale stone, pergolas and the deep blue that fills every frame.
